1. Application
(our pups have surgery at 8 weeks age and therefore go home at 9 weeks age)
We screen all our potential puppy owners as well as visitors to our home. Our application is set up to give us enough information at first glance so that we can tell if we have what you are looking for or not. Once that is determined we can plan a visit. Our application can be filled and submitted HERE
2. Reservation
The second step of our screening process is to book a reservation. We require a $500 reservation fee to book a reservation on the waiting list. (This fee is applied to the balance) The reservation fee is non refundable. However, should you wish a certain temperament and that puppy is not available in our current litters, a full refund of your reservation fee will be made or you can choose to move your deposit to another litter. If you come here before allocations and do not wish to purchase a puppy then a full refund will be given. If you wish to withdraw from the waiting list for any reason other than listed above, your reservation fee will be non-refundable.
3. Puppy Assignments
We promise our customers that we will do our best to provide them with the type of puppy they are searching for. We understand that it is very easy to fall in love with a picture of a puppy, but it is extremely important for families to understand that it is the temperament and personality of the dog that is most important when determining which puppies and families will be best suited to each other. If you get a puppy that is not well suited to your needs, it won’t matter what color or texture the coat is. If you do get a puppy that is well suited to your needs, it still won’t matter what color or texture the coat is.
We do not allow families to come and choose puppies in person. We assign our puppies to the families on the waiting list. There are no exceptions. Our process is designed to ensure all families are given equal consideration in making sure a suitable and good match is made. There is no first or last pick.
Every puppy is perfect for someone. To keep our assignment/matching process fair for everyone, we use the information provided to us from the families and applications, as well as the results from the evaluations and input from our trainer to determine which puppy or puppies are suitable for each family.
We aim to provide each and every family the puppy they are wishing for. We want the best for each puppy, and for each family. We do not want families to end up being unhappy with their puppy, or worse even, to return their puppy for rehoming. We want all families and puppies to be happy together forever.
Everyone gets equal consideration regardless of the order of reservation. After the puppy assignment is done we have families come to visit (in no particular order) 1 puppy (or more if there are any) that we recommend as a good match. Families have the choice to accept or not accept our recommendation. If our recommendation is unacceptable to you then we can have another look to see if any changes can be made; or you have the choice of waiting for the next litter.
4. Payment schedule
Once you are on a waiting list, the rest of the payments are due according to the schedule listed below. If you cannot bring your puppy home by the pick up date puppy can stay here for an additional cost of $25.00 per day provided that we have the space and time. If we are not able to keep your puppy past the pick up date then the puppy will be cared for at a boarding facility. The boarding fees will be paid to the facility directly at time of pick up. Funds can be sent by email money transfer or by the Paypal buttons on the payment page. Cheques, are not accepted.
1st payment is $500 reservation fee due when application is approved if you want to be put on a waiting list.
2nd payment is $1000.00 due when puppies are born.
3rd payment is $1000.00 due when puppies are 6 weeks old.
final payment is $250 + HST ($250 + $357.50) = $607.50 due at or before puppy pick up
(I will confirm amounts via email)
Late payments will be charged a $50 late fee. Payments that are more than 7 days late will result in the reservation being moved to the next litter.
